Friends of Olympic National Park
A park this wild deserves friends.
Since 2002 we have supported Olympic National Park through education, volunteering and giving — alongside the National Park Service, for present and future generations.
Our Mission
We help Olympic National Park do more than its budget allows.
Friends of Olympic National Park is a volunteer-led 501(c)(3) working in close partnership with the National Park Service to promote stewardship and keep the park vibrant and thriving for all.
Educate
Guided insect, mushroom and wildflower walks, the Winter Perspectives lecture series, and National Junior Ranger Day.
Volunteer
Beach and visitor center cleanups, graffiti removal, and the Heart O’ the Forest adopt-a-trail crew.
Fund
Grants and gifts for special projects — and for park activities the National Park Service budget does not cover.
Honor
The Most Inspirational Friend and Most Inspirational Park Employee awards, presented every year since 2003.
